1. F-15E Strike Eagle.
Airmen from the 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron's Aircraft Paint shop Modified almost an entire month to every detail that went into painting Seymour Johnson's 75th Anniversary Heritage Jet.
2. F-16.

3. F-16 Fighting Falcon’s.
The recently painted F-16 Fighting Falcon’s heritage theme consists of many elements to honor its 75 years of combat air power including the #53 on the left and right fins to highlight the original tail number of SDANG Founder, WWII Ace and Medal of Honor recipient, Joe Foss. 114th's Heritage Jet visits 2022 Ellsworth Air and Space Show.
4. F-15 Eagle.
The aircraft sports a unique paint scheme honoring the heritage of the base's namesake, David R. Kingsley. The flyovers were conducted to honor those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle and to lift the morale of our fellow Oregonions.

5. F-4 Phantom II.
The F-4 Phantom II, the F-15 A Model, and the F-100 are on their way to their new home at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. These three fighter jets serve as legacy aircraft to the 131st Bomb Wing, yet for the past seven they have been separated from their Missouri Air National Guard.
In 2008, the 131st Fighter Wing based at Lambert international Airport in St. Louis Missouri, moved across the state to Whiteman and became the 131st Bomb Wing.
6. F-100 Super Sabre.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre is an American supersonic jet fighter aircraft that served with the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1954 to 1971 and with the Air National Guard (ANG) until 1979.
F-100 restoration is tribute to ANG legacy.
B-roll video shows a U.S. Air Force F-100 Super Sabre that was on static display in Sioux City, Iowa after it was repaired and repainted. The static display project was completed just as the U.S. Air Force marks its 75th Anniversary.
With its signature oval nose, curved fuselage and flat bottom the 1950’s era aircraft resembles a Formula 1 race car of the same time period.
The old jet with the iconic Sioux City “HA” on its tail will continue to serve as a tribute to Air Guard members past and present serving as a reminder of the shared heritage and contributions of those who flew and fixed the “HUN” for years to come.
7. Thunderbirds T-38 Talon.
We explore the history behind the Thunderbirds T-38 Talon, on static display at the Air Force Academy's Thunderbird Overlook.
The unit is based out of Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
Tyndall houses an original T-38 Thunderbird and was re-united with the pilot that spent the most time flying the jet.
USAF T-38 jets with the 2nd Fighter Training Squadron conduct air to air combat training. Video includes T-35 jets during preflight and aerial footages from the cockpit.
8. F-15.
Today we debut one of three f-15s mirroring that legacy.
The 48th Fighter Wing is painting three jets with a paint scheme from World War II. This is the first of three F15s that are being released. This particular paint scheme is a rendition of a P-47.

9. RF-84 Thunderflash.

Advances in aviation in the early part of the Jet age made the 1950’s and 60’s an exciting time to be a part of the fledgling United States Air Force.
This 1950’s era Republic RF-84 photo reconnaissance aircraft recently went through a significant make over and received a new coat of paint at the Air National Guard paint facility in Sioux City, Iowa before being placed back on static display.
The aircraft was flown by the 174th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron of the Iowa Air Guard in Sioux City, Iowa from 1958 to 1961. The RF-84 “Thunderflash” was the first of the “modern” jets to be specifically designed for photo-reconnaissance.
10. A-10C Thunderbolt II.

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin-turbofan, straight-wing, subsonic attack aircraft developed by Fairchild Republic for the United States Air Force (USAF). In service since 1976, it is named for the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a World War II-era fighter-bomber effective at attacking ground targets, but commonly referred to as the "Warthog" or "Hog".
